Ans:    The central idea of the poem is to love bout nature and its attractive beauty.

Ans:    Daffodils represent nature and its impact on the man.

Ans:    The memories of scene give him love and beauty with joy and pleasure.

Ans:   Vales and hills, Cloud and crowd, trees and breeze, jocund company etc.

Ans:   The poet has heightened the impact of the poem by using figurative language such as lakes, fields, vales, trees and stars etc.

Answer the following questions.

Q.1    What happened when Abu Jehl asked about Hazrat Abu Bakr?
Ans:   When Abu Jehl asked about Hazrat Abu Bakr she replied, “How would I know?” In anger Abu Jehl slapped her face but she stood bravely.

Q2.    Why was Hazrat Abu Quhafa worried?
Ans:   Hazrat Abu Quhafa (R.A) was worried that Hazrat Abu Bakr (R.A) had taken all the wealth leaving them helpless.

Q3     How did Hazrat Asma console her grandfather?
Ans:   She gathered some pebbles put them at wealth-place and covered. She consoled her blind grandfather that her father had left all wealth at home.

Q4.    Who was Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair?
Ans:   He was the son of Hazrat Asma (R.A)

Q5.    Which incident in the story showed Hazrat Asma’s love and respect for the Holy Prophet () ?
Ans:   She showed her great love and respect for Holy Prophet (S. A. W) at the time of migration she risked her life and supplied food. She received slap by Abu Jehl but did not tell anything.

Q6.    Which incident in the story tells about the generosity of Hazrat Asma?
Ans:   Hazrat Asma sold the inherited garden and gave its all money to the poor and needy. Nobody ever returned empty handed from her doorstep.

Q7.    What message do you get from the life of Hazrat Asma?
Ans:   The message we get from her life is that we should spend life of bravery, generosity, truth fullness, piety and patience.  

Q8.    “Her life would always be a beacon of light for all of us”. How?
Ans:   Hazrat Asma showed patience, bravery generosity, piety, strong believe in Allah; love and respect with the Holy Prophet.

Q.1.   What is the most important function that media performs?
Ans:   Media raises many social issues like corruption, terrorism, drug addiction and violation of human rights.it has also become moth piece of the downs trodden.

Q.2    What are two major means of communication?
The two major mean of communications are electric media and print media. It includes films, radio and television etc.

Q.3    How does media provide entertainment?
Electronic media entertains us by different kinds of programmes such as drama, sports, movies and music,. In print media we read humourus stories, essays and sport news.

Q.4    What happens when media is allowed to play its role unchecked?
If media is allowed to play its role unchecked it may spread false news against government which is harmful for a stable government. Dishonest media is harmful for peaceful society.

Q.5    Give three reasons in support of your favourite T.V. programme?
The national geographic is my favoutite T.V. channel. It is about wildlife and nature.
i)                                           It expands my knowledge
ii)                                        I never feel board.
iii)                                      It improves my listening

Ans: Patriotism is defined as: love for the motherland or devotion to one’s country.

Q.2    What are the qualities of a patriot?
Ans:   Patriot loves his country and is always willing to sacrifice for it when the need arises.

Q.3    A citizen of Pakistan what are your duties towards your country?
Ans:   As citizen of Pakistan our main duties towards our country are as follows:
i)                   Loyalty to our country
ii)                Always ready to sacrifice our life for its freedom

Q.4    What makes us stay alert in the wake of foreign invasion?
Ans:   It is the spirit of patriotism that makes us stay alert in the wake of foreign invasion.

Q.5    How will you elaborate Quad-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s quote?
Ans:  We must develop a sense of patriotism which encourages us into one nation.
